Welcome to DanRIS
Since May 2000 DanRIS, Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research, University of Aarhus (CRF), University of Aarhus has been working to implement a registration and monitoring system at institutions, which offer inpatient treatment for substance abuse.
The available data is, among other things, how the institutions are organised,
their methods of treatment, staff data including seniority, education, the prices of treatment,
length of admission, completion rates, the drug users' problems (Europ-ASI)
and other client data, such as age, gender, residence prior to treatment,
pregnancy, drug free partner and more. Additionally, the strategies of the regions will be registered, including which region/municipality uses which institutions, who has the most(short term) successful referral strategies and much more.
It will be possible to link DanRIS to other registers.
More than 14.000 substance abusers in inpatient treatment
have been registered in the DanRIS system (August 2010).
